Location and Time
Took place at the education center on January 8th at 8:14PM.
1st Order of Business:
Up $135 from where we were last year compared to the -$600 from last year. $4000ish total in operating funds.
2nd Order of Business:
This month we will be deactivating keyfobs for individuals that have not signed the waiver.
3rd Order of Business:
Good shape for volunteers for Harrington Elementary school. It would be great exposure for the lab.
4th Order of Business:
Policy and procedure is needed for collecting funds for events with material costs. Procedure is needed for meetup groups that operate independently of the lab.
The lab should be promoted as the host of the group. There will need to be a cross scheduling on meetup so that we do not end up being double booked.
A form will be created to streamline the process.
5th Order of Business:
Gifting memberships will be another way for the lab to raise funding and membership. Work will need to be put in for how to manage the start and end date. We will be need to use Salesforce more extensively to manage these types of accounts. The membership gift will activate the member upon receiving their keyfob.
6th Order of Business:
Andy will be donating some linoleum from pulling up the floors in his home. We will try to see if it can be used in the lounge/second classroom.
