:

1st Order of Business:

The lab.ms $6798.70 in bank and pay-pall. Our net income is 600+ dollars from March. Property taxes were paid for last year.

$622 in snacky treats account. We are good to continue having snacks and drinks at the lab.ms

2nd Order of Business:

General Announcements:

Our Commercial Real Estate agent has been looking into some properties. Will have one to show soon so we may start the search for a possible new space.

Kiln has arrived but we are looking on creating some safety/use instruction to ensure safe use. A price needs to be established for members to purchase raw clay for projects. Julie and Olivia will work on the space in the front room.

The project for turning off key fobs for members who have not signed the waiver will continue.

3rd Order of Business:

Discussed the possibility for using a tablet/kiosk set up for paying for snacks or supplies at the lab. Would need to assign a reader to this task with some rudimentary features for check out.

A concern is suggested donations vs having to sell items as a store. We would need to either continue to take suggested donations or have a store and collect sales tax.

4th Order of Business:

DMS members are coming in asking teaching members to go teach at DMS rather then the Lab.ms according to three different members. The lab would speak with the individuals involved.

5th Order of Business:

We lack the required amount tiling the cover the entire second classroom. An option would be to use mismatched tiling or acquire additional tiling from the manufacturer.

6th Order of Business:

We still need volunteers for art fest. If anyone knows of anyone who can help please let the know so they could sign up.

7th Order of Business:

There is a possibility of a fundraising event in may with a gaming event.
